Phospholipids constitute the basis of structural elements (membranes and granules) and functional elements of all cells from which the organs of our body are built. This is the basic structure of cell membranes. That's why they are called organ lipids. For example, the biological membranes of hepatocytes (liver cells) consist of 65% of phospholipids, of which approximately 40% is phosphatidylcholine. A small amount of exogenous phospholipids in the diet containing polyunsaturated fatty acids makes it difficult to meet their increased demand in various periods of life.
Fortiliver Forte contains lecithin of plant origin (from soy), which is a source of phosphatidylcholine. Lecithin can also be obtained from ingredients of animal origin (e.g. egg yolks).
