Indications
ORSALIT® is a dietary foodstuff for special medical purposes for the dietary management in the states of dehydration, especially during diarrhea or vomiting, and in situations where there is a risk of dehydration.
ORSALIT® complements fluids and minerals in the case of disorders of water and electrolytes.
Dosage
The dosage depends on the degree of dehydration and the doctor. Usually, it is recommended to administer 50-100 ml oral rehydration solution per kg body weight during the first 4 hours and additionally 5-10 ml per kg body weight of each diarrheal stool and / or vomiting. At a later stage the irrigation is recommended to administer 5-10 ml of oral rehydration per kg of body weight each diarrheal stool and / or vomiting.
