NAN OPTIPRO® Plus 1 HMO is an infant formula powder for newborns who, for various reasons, cannot be breastfed. The unique formula of this starting milk includes: DHA* and L. reuteri bacteria. Based on 60 years of research on breast milk, our experts have developed the unique NAN OPTIPRO® Plus 1 HMO formula, which contains: DHA* (docosahexaenoic acid), an essential omega-3 fatty acid, L. reuteri cultures, and plant oils: sunflower, coconut, and canola. It does not contain palm oil. *contains DHA (in accordance with the legal requirement for all infant starter formulas).
Preparation instructions:
- Wash your hands thoroughly.
- Clean the bottle, nipple, and cap. Boil for 5 minutes and cover until use.
- Boil drinking water and let it cool.
- Follow the feeding table. First, pour the cooled water into the bottle. Then add the powder, using only the enclosed measuring scoop and leveling off any excess powder.
- Ensure the scoop is dry and place it back into the can. Close the can after each use and store it in a cool, dry place.
- Shake the bottle until the powder is fully dissolved. Check the milk temperature before feeding your baby.
Important reminders:
- Use only the enclosed scoop. Using more or less powder than indicated may cause dehydration or malnutrition.
- Do not alter the water-to-powder ratio without consulting your doctor.
Key points:
Prepare only one portion at a time and feed it immediately. Always follow the instructions. Do not keep leftover milk; discard any remaining milk after feeding. Always hold your baby during feeding. A baby left unattended may choke. When your baby is old enough, switch from a bottle to a cup.
Important information:
Breastfeeding is the best way to nourish infants and should be continued for as long as possible. Consult your doctor before deciding to use an infant formula.
